Sam's FAQ :D
Why Mass Communications?
Because my first (International Studies), second (English Literature) and third (Political Science) choices are not available locally, except for the first one which is available in Monash but is way out of my budget.
Why (a degree in) Communication & Media Management?
Because it's a broad course that covers many aspects in the Communications industry - I don't want to limit myself to one specialization.
Why Taylor's?
It's just about the only institution here that offers such a course (CMM), but there are also some institutions out there that have double specializations as well.
Is Taylor's good?
Each to his own. E-mail me if you're considering Taylor's as an option.
Why did you take a Canadian Pre-U course but continue with an Australian degree?
Why didn't you go to Canada since you took Canadian Pre-U?
This is a very annoying question. Do all A-Levels students go to the UK, or all SAM students to Australia?
But most of the students who take Canadian Pre-U go to Canada, you know?
Not true.
What's the difference between CIMP and ICPU? Which one is better? Is it harder to enter universities with a CIMP/ICPU qualification as compared to A-Levels or SAM?
I'll publish the answers here when I have the time, but in the meantime you can e-mail me for a detailed answer.
Why are you so quiet?
Because I'm a quiet person. It doesn't mean I don't like you.
Are you okay Sam?
Yes I'm okay. I'm just quiet. -_-
Why do you look so bored/stoned?
I get bored very easily. I am easily distracted if I'm in a conversation with more than two people. But sometimes it's just the way I look - I'm not bored, really.
